John Sample Associates offers a broader, deeper knowledge of the rail and material handling industries because of our historically strong concentration in these fields.  This experience translates into a rich network of contacts/sources that deliver many benefits to our clients.

Experience

Our history in rail and material handling enables us to locate appropriate persons.  On many occasions, there is only a handful of qualified persons throughout the entire country for a client requirement.  We must find out who these people are, where they are, contact them and discuss the position, all hopefully leading to a successful hire from among them.

Versatility

We are able to leverage our industry experience to suit the need.  For example, very recently, we have placed an Assessment Engineer, Switching Technician (rail) and Project Manager, Mineral Mining (bulk material handling).  These are typical assignments, which took from four to 12 months searching in both the U.S. and the U.K. to complete.

Efficiency

By working in a lean, time-conscious manner, we are better able to come up with quick results, often the same day we commence the search!

Connections

Much success comes from a vast network of rail and material handling sources.  We are well-connected to experienced and knowledgeable company officials (initiators of searches and others) and successfully-placed candidates.  This means results for our clients.  Often our placements will contact us with requirements of their own.
