Our Services

We do more than merely match candidates to job openings.  We realize that every search is different as are each client’s hiring needs. We have a proven record of using solid, wide-ranging research and investigative techniques to spot those special people you require. Our company can save you false starts, dead ends, and wasted time by locating the persons you need at a reasonable cost, in timely fashion! Further, there is no cost to you unless and actual hire takes place.


We operate on a contingency basis. The client firm pays for results only. Many recruiters work on a retainer, but our experience tells us that it’s unnatural and inappropriate to ask a client for money before he receives anything for it.  Working in retainer situations, we have seen that many potential clients simply won’t pay a retainer, and their work goes to a contingency firm. Our placements are generally in the 75K to 150K range.

We ask for 20 percent of the successful candidate’s beginning salary, payable when he/she begins work. If the recruit leaves his/her employer (for any reason) before 90 days, Sample Associates is obliged to find a replacement, free-of-charge.  We cover out-of-pocket expenses, such as telephone, postage, fax, etc.

We offer:

  • Prompt, personalized service: I talk with and, if feasible, meet the client face-to-face. It’s impossible to exaggerate the importance of personal meetings for establishing rapport. Intangibles carry great weight in a beginning relationship and throughout.
  • An impressive data bank of candidates: We keep candidates on file. If they are not placed in a job, they may be placed three years later!
  • A wide-ranging network: If one doesn't know where the best candidates are, there are strategically-placed persons in every industry who do. These individuals can be referred to time and again.
  • Domestic and International Service: Although the overwhelming amount of our work is done in the United States, on occasion we have made placements in Europe and the Middle East.
  • Reasonable charges for work successfully done: Twenty percent of the successful candidate’s beginning salary is our regular fee. We cover out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Ability to attack/conduct difficult searches: An investigative, persistent approach enables us to explore every bit of appropriate terrain.
